Agate

Agate is not a distinct mineral species, but an aggregate of various forms of silica, primarily chalcedony. Because it is a aggregate, it can be found in many shades and colors.

Amethyst

Amethyst is a semi-precious stone, with a lovely purple color. It soothes, and brings calm, to help you rest and have a good night's sleep.

Aventurine

Aventurine is a form of quartz that gets its green color from tiny particles of a green, chromium-rich form of mica known as fuchsite. It is the stone of Harmony, and associated with positive attitude, balance, easing anxiety, and leadership.

Bloodstone

Bloodstone (AKA Heliotrope) is green Jasper dotted with red spots of Iron oxide. Known as the "martyr's stone", legend holds that bloodstone was formed when some drops of Christ's blood fell and stained some Jasper at the foot of the cross.

Carnelian

Carnelian is a semi-precious stone known to be a good balancer as it connects you with your inner self, and promotes good concentration.

Garnet

Garnet has been used in jewelry for centuries and is mainly known by it's red variant, but it can be found in red, brown, yellow, and even green.

Goldstone

Goldstone is the Stone of Wealth. Also associated with good luck, reducing stress, dissolving fear, increased energy.

Hematite

An oxide mineral of Iron, relatively hard and heavy. Hematite enhances personal magnetism, will and courage. Hematite is believed to be beneficial for blood flow, stress and the nerves.

Jade

Most people are familar with jade in some shade of green, but jade can be found in shades of white, grey, black, yellow, orange and even in violet. Jade is the stone of Good Luck, and is also associated with potential, remembering dreams, and well being.

Jasper

Jasper is an opaque and fine-grained variety of the silica mineral Chert, that has a dull luster but can be worked to a fine polish. Jasper can be found in a broad variation of colors, like Poppy, Picture, Desert, and Dalmation. It is said to be useful for controlling the emotions, and a good stone for soothing the nerves.

Rock

Besides a form of music, it's a naturally occuring mixture of minerals or mineral-like substances. A well-known rock is granite.

Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz is known as the romance stone. It is also believed to aid peacefulness and calm in relationships also used to ease stress and tension and assist sleep.

Semi-Precious

Any gemstone that is valued for it's beauty and appearance when cut or faceted and polished, but not one of the "cardinal" or "precious" gemstones (diamond, emerald, ruby or saphire).

Sodalite

Sodalite is a rare, rich, royal blue mineral that, along with hauyne, nosean and lazurite, is a common component of Lapis Lazuli. It helps to calm and clear the mind, bring joy and relieve to a heavy heart.It is also believed to aid the metabolism and lymphatic system.

Unakite

Unakite is an altered granite, consisting of pink feldspar, green epidote and clear quartz. It is believed to help your inner self, build yourself confidence and help you grow from within.
